 | Torrin, the main character of In Slow Motion, is a graduate of Podunk High School in the class of 200X, and has been accepted to the Midwest University of Collegiate Arts to pursue an English and Theatre major. He hopes to change the world through his writing and acting, but doesn't realize that he is barely average at either. He's a bass guitarist with dreams of being in a famous band, and his favorite bands are the biggest inspirations in his life. He is socially awkward, believes in conspiracies, reads a lot, and likes to hit small parties. His big goal for life is to become famous and rich. |
 | Horatio, the little brother of our main character, is still in High School, but is arguably smarter and more prepared for college than Torrin (who took BS classes his senior year). He loves video games, cooking, eating, and being lazy. His GPA is supposedly through the roof, even though he enjoys math and science more than anything. Because of his lack of test anxiety and fantastic problem solving skills, he has been known to brag about his ACT score, even though he took it as a seventh grader. Although he doesn't discuss his goals for life very often, it is assumed that he hopes to be a PHD and become famous for his theories and publications. |
